With hits will to opening on the international and foreign cultures, Le Coeur offers an experience lifestyle of Japan between tradition and modernity, art and design, an exhibition night and day concept that will bring successively the experiences on the ground floor the day and in the basement at night.
On the ground floor, the visitor will cross a dry garden to access the mini teahouse designed by ceramist Natsuko Uschino. Visitors will enjoy traditional Genmaicha of the illustrious House of tea Jugetsudo. An exhibition of photographs of Kawashima Kotori also meets the space with a Japanese-inspired collage to halfway between tradition and modernity. Experience ‘day’ continues with a Pocket Shop, and an origami artist showcase Akiko floral, Usami for Paris Miki brand.
In the evening, visitors are invited to discover the lower space transformed into a karaoke bar. The first room is transformed in a mini bar designed and conceived by young Japanese designer Tsuyoshi Hayashi, inspired by those of the District of Shinjuku. The walls feature reinterpretations of portraits of women Araki by Maroussia Rebecq, artistic director of Le Cœur.
A second piece extends this experience Tokyo by night, in a setting inspired by the iconic Yayoi Kusama. The programming of this space is entrusted to the collective Yellow Ghetto and will be punctuated by screenings of Japanese films, a band sound kawai and tastings of Whisky and sake. The space is to discover the day throughout the exhibition, and to privatize the evening for special events.
